
Traffic Pattern into Pfeiffer Has Changed!
**TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Construction has begun on the new Gray Stone Day school that is being built behind the Knapp Tennis Center. The entrance everyone is used to next to the Chapel is NOW CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. It is a CONSTRUCTION entrance only!! Visitors to the North side of campus and for athletic events are now REQUIRED to use the entrance next to the POST OFFICE and wind their way back to the new parking area for athletics. Except for Baseball games, NO public cars, vans and/or buses are allowed across the bridge. They must park in the new parking area circled and highlited in green on the PDF map below. Prim Begins National Title Quest Today at NCAA II National Meet
MISENHEIMER, N.C. – Pfeiffer University freshman Julianna Prim (Yadkinville, NC) will begin her quest to take home a national title, joining the Pfeiffer ranks of Field Hockey and men’s golfer Steven Armstrong, this week at the NCAA II National Swimming Championships held in Canton, Ohio. Prim has qualified for six events, but can only swim in four due to rules and regulations. Read more

Pou Hits Three Bombs as Falcon Baseball Out Slugs #29 Mars Hill 19-15
MARS HILL, N.C. - Pfeiffer and No. 29-ranked Mars Hill went back and forth in an offensive shootout on Tuesday at Henderson Field, but the Falcons prevailed over the Lions 19-15 as Zack Pou (Stanley, N.C.) had a 5-for-6 day with three home runs, one a grand slam, and seven RBI. Pfeiffer improves to 11-13 overall. Mars Hill drops to 11-6 overall. The two teams combined for 34 runs and 40 hits in the game. Read more

Softball Swept at Cross-Town Rival Catawba 12-0, 6-4
SALISBURY, NC - Catawba swept a softball doubleheader from visiting Pfeiffer on Tuesday afternoon at Whitley Field. The Catawba Indians rolled to a 12-0 win in the opener then held off the Falcons for a 6-4 victory in the nightcap. Catawba improves to 14-9, while Pfeiffer falls to 10-12. Read more

Ten Different Lady Falcons Score Twice as Women's Lacrosse Pastes Fort Lewis 25-3
MISENHEIMER, N.C. – Ten different Lady Falcons scored at-least two goals as Pfeiffer University pasted Fort Lewis (Co.) 25-3 in non-conference women’s lacrosse action on Tuesday afternoon at N.E. Lefko Field. The Lady Falcons, who received votes to be in the IWLCA top-10, improve to 5-1 on the season while the Skyhawks fall to 0-3. Read more

Cowles Paces Women's Golf to 9th Place Finish at Dana Rader Intercollegiate
MISENHEIMER, N.C. – Pfeiffer University’s women’s golf team finished ninth out of 14 teams at the 2010 Dana Rader Intercollegiate, hosted by Pfeiffer, at the Ballantyne Golf Resort in Charlotte. Newberry won the two-day event with a team total of 624 on the 5,830 yard, par 72 layout by 26 shots over runners-up UNC-Pembroke. Anderson’s Sophie Dembroski took home medalist honors with rounds of 78 and 70. Read more
