GAFFNEY, S.C. - Tyron Evans’ three-point basket with only seconds left on the clock lifted the Limestone College men’s basketball team to a 91-90 victory over Pfeiffer University in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday night at the Timken Center. Softball Starts Year with Upset of #14 Kutztown; Split Pair of Games at UNCP Invitational
PEMBROKE, N.C. – Pfeiffer University began its 2010 softball with a split in a pair of games at the UNC-Pembroke Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Falcons started the year with a 4-3 upset win over #14 Kutztown University before falling 9-4 in the nightcap to West Virginia State. Pfeiffer used a walk-off double by Shelby Brown in the bottom of the seventh in a game one win while stranding 11 runners on in the game two loss. Read more
