The NCAA Division II selection show broadcast revealed the first Falcon opponent of the East Reginal Tournament.

The #7 seeded Mountain Cats of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown will match up against the #2 seeded Falcons in Glenville, West Virginia on the campus of Glenville State College. Pfeiffer University advances to the East Region tournament after downing Anderson University 67-54 in the finals of the CVAC tournament. Heading into the NCAA tournament, the Falcons' overall record is 26-4.
