Five golfers commit to Pfeiffer

Misenheimer, NC – Pfeiffer University’s Director of Golf Phil Fecteau announces five players have committed to competing for the Falcons next year. Pfeiffer adds one woman and four men to its roster.
Chad Nicholson makes his way to Pfeiffer from Port Carling, Ontario, Canada. Nicholson was the Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School boy’s golf team’s captain in 2008 and 2009. In 2008 he was the recipient of the Scott Self Award and was the Junior Club Champion at the South Muskoka Curling and Golf Club. Nicholson was a CJGA Team East Canada Team member in 2007 and took the title at the Juvenile Pepsi Tour. Nicholson won the title of MVP and Most Dedicated on his school’s hockey team for three seasons. He was named to the Academic Awards Honor Roll and is a member of the Student Parliament.
Like Nicholson, Tyson Louth will also be coming to Pfeiffer from Canada. The native of Washago, Ontario, Canada is a four-time Orillia District High School golf MVP. He was also the MVP of the 2006 Regional basketball team and three-time Heart and Hustle award winner for the team. Louth was also MVP of the Orillia hockey and lacrosse teams. He is an honors student and volunteers at his home course to organize and teach junior golfers.
JD Lamm, a native of Port Charlotte, Florida, has been named All-County for the past four years and also earned the county championship title twice. In 2008 Lamm won the Charlotte County Junior Championship. He also won two Greater Sarasota Junior Golf Association Tournaments.
