Five golfers commit to Pfeiffer

Misenheimer, NC – Pfeiffer University’s Director of Golf Phil Fecteau announces five players have committed to competing for the Falcons next year.  Pfeiffer adds one woman and four men to its roster.

Rene Kelly comes to Pfeiffer from Lehigh Acres, Florida and has been captain of the girl’s varsity golf teams throughout her four years at both Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Riverdale High School in Fort Myers, Florida.  In 2008 and 2009 Kelly was named MVP of Riverdale girl’s golf.  She was also named to the LCAC All-Conference team in 2008.  Kelly followed a Christmas Classic 2008 tournament win and a Premier Junior Tour Women’s 16-19 win with a second place trophy at the 2009 Premier Junior Tour event at the Majestic Golf Course in Lehigh Acres, Florida.  Kelly is in the top 10 percent of her graduating class, a member of the National Honor Society, and a First Tee Scholar.
