Women's golf tees off at NCAA Regionals

Howey-in-the-Hills, FL – The Pfeiffer University women’s golf team teed off on Sunday morning at the Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort for the NCAA South Regional, hosted by the Orlando Sports Commission. The Falcons qualified for the NCAA Regional for the first time in the program’s six year history. The 54 hole regional began Sunday morning and continues through Tuesday afternoon. Joining Pfeiffer at the tournament is Conference Carolinas foe Belmont Abbey, as well as Barry University, Florida Southern, Nova Southeastern University, Wingate University, Florida Tech, Carson-Newman College, Lynn University, Rollins College, Catawba College, Newberry College, and West Florida.
The top three teams from the regional qualify for the NCAA National Finals, to be held next week in Findlay, Ohio.
