Pfeiffer falls to Saints, 10-6

Misenheimer, NC Ė The Pfeiffer menís lacrosse team fell 10-6 to the visiting Saints of Limestone College on Saturday afternoon.† Pfeiffer falls to 7-4 overall and 3-2 in the conference, while Limestone improves to 7-3 overall and 4-1 in league play.

Pfeiffer was outshot 38-26 in the game and was edged out in ground balls 31-25.† The Falcons managed 11 of 20 face-offs and had a success rate of 50 percent on extra man opportunities (2-4).

Kevin Anderson (Altamonte Springs, FL), Shawn Cross (Cranberry Township, PA), Jameson Shultz (High Point, NC) and Kyle Rockey (Charlotte, NC) all tallied two points on the day off of one goal and one assist apiece. Dan Mesler (Penn Yan, NY) added one goal and grabbed a team high four ground balls. Pfeiffer defenders Jake Milrod (Leesburg, VA) and Patrick Faulhaber (Apex, NC) scooped up three ground balls apiece. Falcon goalkeeper Jimmy Dyches (Abingdon, MD) made 14 saves in the game.

The Saints were led by Brendan Storrier (LaFayette, NY) who netted six goals. Limestone goalkeeper James Tuohy (Levittown, NY) made 10 saves in the game.
