Women's Volleyball Loses Its Offense as Limestone Sweeps 3-0

GAFFNEY, S.C.— The Limestone College women’s volleyball team defeated Pfeiffer University 3-0 on Thursday night at the Timken Center. The scores of the match were 25-18, 25-21, and 25-7. Limestone improves to 15-14 overall and 9-5 in Conference Carolinas play. The Falcons, who entered the match in second place in the conference standings, drop to 17-11 overall and 12-3 in the league.
Limestone’s Chelsea Anthony (Pickens, S.C.) recorded a game-high 12 kills and 23 digs. Melissa Thomas (Easley, S.C.) posted 11 kills. Laura Kerrison (Charleston, S.C.) and Danielle Seibert (Naperville, Ill.) had 19 and 13 assists, respectively. Brooke England (Rochester, N.Y.) had 13 digs while Courtney Taotoai (Norwalk, Calif.) had 9. Sam Johnson (Summerville, S.C.) recorded three blocks.
Kristina Mordini (Freeport, Ill.) led Pfeiffer with six kills and two aces. Kaci Markham (Asheboro, N.C.) posted eight digs. Vanessa Gerig (Towanda, Ill.) tallied 15 assists.
