Men's Soccer Ranked #24 in the Nation; #3 in Southeast Region


MISENHEIMER, N.C. – After knocking off Lees-McRae last Saturday, the #1-ranked team in the country, the Pfeiffer University men’s soccer team find themselves now ranked inside the nation’s top-25 after the 1-0 shutout over Lees-McRae. The Falcons, standing at 13-4 on the season, cracked the NSCAA/adidas national poll ranking #24 in the country heading into tomorrow afternoon’s first-round tournament matchup against Belmont Abbey.

Pfeiffer becomes the second Conference Carolinas school in the top-25 as Lees-McRae now stands at #7. In the Southeast region, the Falcons stand third behind Lees-McRae and Anderson in the NCAA rankings. This is the final regular-season regional rankings poll of the season with the NCAA II men’s soccer selection show taking place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 9th.
