Conference Carolinas Officially Welcomes 2010 Men's Volleyball Season

HIGH POINT, N.C. - Conference Carolinas welcomes the worldwide growing game of men’s volleyball as a new conference sport for the 2010 season. While all league members currently sponsor women’s volleyball teams, this is the first year that enough schools are sponsoring teams for men’s volleyball to become a qualified conference emerging sport.
The men’s volleyball regular season starts in late January and will culminate with a two team conference championship. The conference championship will be hosted by the highest remaining seeded team on Saturday, April 17, 2010.
Teams sponsoring men’s volleyball this year that will compete in league play will be Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, Mount Olive College, Pfeiffer University, and King College*.
