China Represents Women's Basketball as Conference's Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University’s Domonique China (10-8 overall, 10-3 conf.) has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas women's basketball Player of the Week during week number ten in the 2009-10 season. China led the Lady Falcons to a perfect 2-0 week to build on their win streak of five-in-a-row inside Conference Carolinas play.
China started the week with a 17 point, seven assist output in an impressive home win over Anderson on Monday night. The junior added four rebounds, a pair of steals, and a block in the victory. In a 10-point road win at Lees-McRae, China added 16 points with six boards, four more assists, and three steals. For the week, she scored 32 points, had 11 assists, and pulled down 10 rebounds.
The Lady Falcons return to action tomorrow night (Tuesday) at 7:00 p.m. when the travel to Spartanburg, SC to take on the Converse Valkyries.
