Women's Tennis Goes 1-2 in Three Weekend Matches in 24 Hours

MISENHEIMER, N.C. – The Pfeiffer University women’s tennis team went 1-2 over the weekend taking on division one Gardner-Webb, North Greenville and Lincoln Memorial. The Lady Falcons lost 6-1 at Gardner-Webb, sandwiched an 8-1 win against North Greenville and lost a 6-3 decision to Lincoln Memorial on Sunday. Pfeiffer stands 7-4 on the season taking conference foe Mount Olive on Monday.
Pfeiffer’s lone point against Gardner-Webb came as a forfeit in singles before taking every point in the North Greenville match except number one doubles. Sunday against Lincoln Memorial, the Lady Falcons went 2-1 in doubles action before dropping four of six matches in singles. All box scores from the weekend matches are below.
