MISENHEIMER, N.C. – After a pair of 2-1 victories in the 2010 Queens Soccer Classic over #5 Carson-Newman and Flagler, the Pfeiffer University women’s soccer team comes in at #4 in the NSCAA/Hendrickcars.com Southeast region poll and received votes for the nation’s top-25.

The Lady Falcons used a double overtime goal by Hanna Holmstrom (Bredaryd, SWEDEN) in Friday’s upset of the fifth-ranked Lady Eagles while Lindsey Godwin (Raleigh, NC) deposited the game-winner in the 74th minute against Flagler.

Pfeiffer has two more tough pre-conference tests this week traveling to Hickory, NC for a Wednesday night match up at Lenoir-Rhyne (1-1) before hosting #1 in the region and #8 nationally Columbus State (2-0) at noon on Sunday.

Live stats will be available for both contests through www.gofalconsports.com.
