Gimenez Leads Women's Golf to Third Place Finish at Patsy Rendleman Invitational

SALISBURY, N.C. – Pfeiffer University fired a two-day total 625 to finish in a tie for third at the 2010 Patsy Rendleman Invitational hosted by Catawba College at the 5,983-yard, par 72 Salisbury Country Club. Belmont Abbey won the event with a tournament record 591 behind Meagan Wallace’s final round 66.

Lady Falcon freshman Angela Gimenez led the team way with rounds of 74 and 75 totaling 149 concluding in a tie for sixth. Jackie McMenimon, finished T-28, put up back-to-back rounds of 80 wrapping up one stroke better than Steph Peareth’s 161 (87/74).

Rounding out Pfeiffer’s team scores were Chelsea Demers finishing T-38 at 163 (81/82) and Kelly Hill at T-40 firing a 164 (79/85). The two-day event wrapped up the fall portion of the Lady Falcons 2010-2011 schedule.
