Men's Cross Country Wraps Up Year in 24th Place at NCAA II Southeast Regional

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Pfeiffer University completed its 2010 men’s cross country season in 24th place at the NCAA II Southeast Regional meet on Saturday morning at Charlotte’s McAlpine Park. Queens won the team event while Meshack Koyiaki from Columbus State took home individual honors.

Will Oliver and Cody Jones paced the Falcons with times of 36:27 and 36:28 in 111th and 112th individually. Freshman Greg Kielar followed with a 37:41 while Cody Bivens clocked in with a 38:14 in the 10,000 meter race. Zach Grey, Trey Sharpe and Grady Gaston rounded out Pfeiffer’s scoring as Grey concluded with a 38:52, Sharpe at 40:42 and Gaston two minutes later.
