Men's Basketball Makes it 2-for-2 as Humphrey Earns Week Two Player of the Week Honors

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University’s Josh Humphrey (Matthews, NC) has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas men’s Basketball Player of the Week during week number two in the 2010-2011 season. Humphrey posted his first career double-double leading the Falcons to a Conference Carolinas opening win at Erskine on Tuesday night. Pfeiffer snags its second-straight player of the week to start the season. Chris Woods earned the honor a week ago.
The Falcons took care of the Flying Fleet 70-45 behind Humphrey's 19 points and 11 rebounds. In just 23 minutes of action off the bench, Humphrey hit on 70% from the floor (7-for-10) and went 5-of-7 (71.4%) from three-point land. Humphrey and the Falcons return to league action on Wednesday traveling to Lees-McRae.
