Women's Tennis Rolls at Meredith 7-2

RALEIGH, N.C. – Pfeiffer University won all seven matches played on Thursday afternoon claiming a 7-2 victory over Meredith College in non-conference women’s tennis action. The Lady Falcons improve to 4-4 overall despite not playing a #3 doubles or #6 singles match while Meredith falls to 0-2.
Pfeiffer rolled in doubles 8-3 and 8-6 as Alena Krutkina and Chelsi Haefele won at #1 while Briana Oliver and Cari Hopson won playing #2. All five Lady Falcons won in singles as Haefele had to win a 10-5 set three for the point and win.
Pfeiffer returns to league play on Saturday afternoon traveling to Erskine for a 1:00 p.m. matchup with the Lady Fleet.
