Women's Tennis Moves On to Semifinals with 5-1 Win over Coker

SUMTER, S.C. - Pfeiffer University women's tennis defeated Coker College 5-1 in the opening round of the 2011 Conference Carolinas tournament on Friday afternoon. The Lady Falcons improve to 11-9 overall and will face top-seeded Erskine on Saturday.
Pfeiffer took two of three doubles matches before registering the first three available singles points to end the match. Both doubles wins came 8-2 in the first and second positions while Alena Krutkina, Chelsi Haefele and Briana Oliver each notched the points in singles play.
