Demers Leads Lady Falcon Golf at Anderson Invitational

ANDERSON, S.C. – Pfeiffer University senior Chelsea Demers fired a final round 78 to finish tied for eighth overall at the 2011 Anderson Invitational. Demers led the Lady Falcons to a seventh-place finish behind her two-day total of 158 at the 5,952-yard, par 72 Cobb’s Glenn Country Club.
Steph Peareth followed Demers with a 160 after a first round 79 on Monday finishing tied for 12th. Lauren Lyle wrapped up inside the top 20 firing a 164 while Meredith Beavin and Victoria Purcell rounded out Pfeiffer’s team scores.
Pfeiffer returns to action Monday and Tuesday hosting the Pfeiffer Intercollegiate at Tillery Tradition Country Club.
