Bohon Scores Pair of Wins; Swimming Racks Up 40 Top-Three's at Catawba Meet

SALISBURY, N.C. - Pfeiffer University dropped a pair of swim decision at conference rival Catawba on Saturday afternoon at the Johnson Poll. Catawba's women defeated the Lady Falcons 161-101 while the Indian men notched a 157-105 victory.
Pfeiffer started the day with four-straight second and third place finishes in the 200-yard medley relay and 1,000-yard freestyle in both the men's and women's events. Elijah Bohon scored the first of his two individual wins in the 100-yard backstroke before doing the same later in the 200 back.
The Lady Falcons secured their win of the afternoon in the 800-yard freestyle relay as Vicky Miller, Morgan Dionne, Kimberly Eurillo and Randi Bryden out-touched Catawba by more than eight seconds.
Pfeiffer would conclude the Catawba afternoon with a combined 40 top-three finishes on the day over the 28-event meet.
Saturday wrapped up the fall portion of the swim schedule as the Falcons are back in action on Friday, January 6th during the annual winter trip to Florida. Pfeiffer will swim at St. Leo with Lake Erie joining in on the fun.
