The win pushes the red-hot Trojans to 15-7 overall, 8-4 in league play while the Falcons drop down to 11-10, 5-6.

Reggie Hollinger would put Pfeiffer up a half dozen just 3:11 in after his first converted triple of the night. 90 seconds later, Mount Olive had erased the deficit and took the lead on a layup from Hayes. Within the first two minutes of the second, Anuna would get the Mount Olive down to just four as would Hollinger at the 17:27 mark trailing 43-39. After a triple by Hayes, technical foul on the Falcons and two converted free throws by Ibrahim, the Trojans would take full control once again busting out on a 16-0 to go up 20, 59-39, with 11:01 remaining. The Falcons would only get as close as 12 after a layup by Hollinger with 2:27 remaining but would run out of time as Mount Olive claimed the double-digit win.

In addition to the efforts of Ibrahim and Hayes, Jordan McCain also finished in double-figures scoring 12. Hollinger was one of three Falcons reaching double-digits dropping in 22.
