Men's Volleyball Pushes Win Streak to Five with Wins over Eastern Mennonite and Philly Bible

HARRISONBURG, V.A. - The Pfeiffer University men's volleyball team pushed their win streak to four and five with a pair of 3-1 victories over Eastern Mennonite and Philadelphia Biblical on Saturday at the EMU Tri-Match. The Falcons now stand at 5-1 on the season.
The Falcons notched a 25-22, 23-25, 25-21, 25-17 win over the host Royals led by Caleb Brophy's 11 kills hitting .333. Eric Edelman followed with 10 kills while Konstantin Weise hit .538 with eight kills. David Specian set the Falcons up 40 times while leading the way on defense with nine digs. Pfeiffer hit .265 in the four-set win over the Royals.
Pfeiffer was led again by Brophy's nine kills as almost every Falcon got time on the floor against Philly Bible. Quentin Moore added seven kills after Brophy hit .692 on the day. Kyle Landrigan stepped up with 31 assists while Mark Hess popped up a match-high 16 digs.
