Men's Volleyball Slides Win Streak to 10 with Pair of Sunday Victories in New York City

MISENHEIMER, N.C. - The Pfeiffer University men's volleyball team pushed their school-record to 10-straight wins on Sunday morning with a 3-1 (22-25, 25-12, 25-17, 25-16) win over Rivier and a 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-17) victory over Kean in the 2012 Baruch Classic. The Falcons now stand at 10-1 overall on the season.
In the win over Rivier, Quentin Moore led the way with 14 kills hitting .393 while Eric Edelman followed with 12 and .333. David Specian assisted 41 times while the Falcons collected 13 total team blocks including three solo from Moore.
Against Kean, Caleb Brophy put down a match-high dozen kills hitting .556 as the Falcons hit .411 as a team. Specian and Kyle Landrigan led with 20 and 12 assists respectively while libero Mark Hess led with 11 digs.
Pfeiffer will now head out to the midwest and the Lindenwood Invitational on Friday and Saturday taking on Cal Baptist, host Lindenwood and Missouri Baptist in their three matches.
