Women's Golf Defeats West Chester in Wednesday Dual Match at Irish Creek

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - The Pfeiffer University women’s golf team fired a very solid score of 325 to defeat West Chester University on Wednesday at The Club of Irish Creek. West Chester shot a 346 on the 5,867-yard course.

The Falcons were led by senior Chelsea Demers (Wilton, NH) as she continued her strong play with a four over-par 75. Demers score was medalist of the dual match.  Freshman Danielle Haizlip carded an 80, Lauren Lyle 83, Stephanie Peareth 87, and Amanda Wemple 91 for the Lady Falcons.

West Chester was led by Annie Bahnich (Emmaus, Pa)and Grace Battista (Boomall, Pa) each with an 84.

The Lady Falcons return to action March 31st against Brevard in a dual match before traveling to Tusculum in Greenville, Tennessee on April 1-3.
