#15 Women's Lacrosse Ends Florida Road Trip with 19-6 Loss to #9 Stonehill

WINTER PARK, F.L. - Ninth-ranked Stonehill College scored six unanswered goals to start a 13-goal first half en route to a 19-6 victory over 15th-ranked Pfeiffer University in women's lacrosse action on Thursday afternoon. The neutral site contest was played at Rollins as the Skyhawks move to 2-0 on the year while the Lady Falcons drop to 4-4.
After Stonehill scored their first six, Pfeiffer's Liz Melesh would temporarily stop the bleeding on a free position shot goal. Following three more from the Skyhawks, Kristina Anderson would tally the final first half goal for the Lady Falcons trailing 13-2 at the half.
Shannon Bonnel would open the second half with her lone goal of the afternoon before Natalie Marvin and Kristi Korn later hit for the Lady Falcons. Melesh would add her second and the team's final goal with 93 seconds remaining.
