Women's Tennis Rolls Easily 8-1 at Converse

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Pfeiffer University got back on the winning track with an 8-1 victory at Converse College in women's tennis action on Saturday afternoon. Pfeiffer gets back into league play Thursday at Lees-McRae.

The Lady Falcons gained three of their eight points without even stepping on the court as Converse played with just four players. Alena Krutkina and Taylor Lindsay rolled at #1 doubles 8-2 while Chelsi Haefele and Briana Oliver won a 9-8 tiebreak 12-10 to secure the final point.

In singles, Krutkina and Lindsay won their matches in straight-sets along with Oliver. Krutkina went one and one, Lindsay two and love and Oliver love and three.
