Lyle Named a NGCA All-American for Women's Golf

CORAL SPRINGS, F.L. – The National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholar Teams for Division I, II & III were announced today with a total of 602 women’s collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor. Pfeiffer University's Lauren Lyle represents the Lady Falcons majoring in Sports Management. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.

Lyle, a sophomore from Orlando, landed on Conference Carolinas all-conference third team. Lyle had a season-best round of 79 on two different occasions in the 2012 spring season. The first would come at the Dana Rader Intercollegiate in Charlotte while the second appeared in early April at the Agnes McAmis Memorial in Tennessee.
