Men's Soccer Blanked in 2012 Season Opener 5-0 at Clayton State

MORROW, G.A. - Ado Junusovic registered a second-half hat trick as host Clayton State shutout visiting Pfeiffer University 5-0 in men's soccer action on Friday night. Pfeiffer managed just four shots on the night in the 2012 season opener.

The Lakers held a 1-0 halftime lead after Elliot Prost's first goal of the year just 3:49 in. In the second half, Junusovic scored his first after an assist from Kevin Rodriguez in the 66th minute.

Just over a minute later, Arturo Cruz made in 3-0 Clayton State after Jonny Evans' first of two-straight assists. Junusovic's second came from Evans in the 73rd minute before grabbing the hat trick in the 77th minute of play.

Clayton State outshot Pfeiffer 20-4 on the night taking nine corners to the Falcons one. Aldo Ramirez took two of Pfeiffer's four shots on the night with Kyle Toler and Brandon Bouysou had the others.

Pfeiffer wraps up play in Georgia on Saturday taking on North Georgia on Clayton State's campus. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m. at Laker Field.
