Connor Dahn Inks National Letter of Intent

Misenheimer, N.C.- Head basketball coach Jeremy Currier announced that Connor Dahn has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Pfeiffer University.

"We are excited to announce the addition of Connor Dahn to the Pfeiffer University men's basketball program. Connor is an outstanding perimeter shooter with great range," Currier said. "He will add depth to our perimeter shooting corps and will increase the level of competition within our program. His experience in high school at Worthington Kilbourne and the successful post graduate year he just completed at Fork Union Military Academy will add to the overall character of our program."

Dahn is a 6'4", 205 lb. shooting guard from Columbus, Ohio. He averaged 12 points and 5.2 rebounds while shooting an astounding 53% from beyond the arc as a post graduate for Fork Union Military Academy. Fork Union head coach Brooks Berry said, "Connor is an outstanding young man and one of the hardest workers in our program this year. He has the passion to reach his capabilities of being the best player and person he can possibly become. Pfeiffer has gotten themselves a steal in Connor Dahn, not only as a basketball player, but also what he will bring to the community and university overall while he is at Pfeiffer and after he graduates."

Prior to Fork Union, Dahn was a standout player at Worthington Kilbourne High School, where he averaged 15.5 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists per game and a shot league leading 55% from the field. As a senior, Connor earned All Ohio Capital Conference and All Central District honors.

Dahn embodies the consummate student-athlete, earning a 3.5 grade point average and graduating from Worthington Kilbourne High School with Honors. While at Fork Union Military Academy, Connor made the Dean's List each semester.

"Connor joins a recruiting class comprised of high character players, who value being around quality teammates and are excited to be a part of moving Pfeiffer basketball forward," stated Currier. "The desire to bring championship basketball to Pfeiffer University is the common goal for our first three recruiting classes. When we can layer the classes as we have, and there's maturity in them, then we can get the depth, the competitiveness, and the steadiness that's needed to become a high level team."

With the addition of Dahn, Pfeiffer University men's basketball welcomes a three-player freshman class for the 2013-14 season, along with Charlie Wagoner and Xavier Evans, who signed their National Letter of Intent earlier in the signing period. The Falcons will return 11 lettermen and four starters from the 2012-13 squad. Seven of the Falcons' top eight scorers last season were freshmen or sophomores.
