Women's Lacrosse names Moulton as Assistant Coach

Misenheimer, NC- Pfeiffer women's lacrosse coach Dawn Easley has announced the hiring of Jessica Moulton as an assistant coach. Moulton, a former Falcons’ player, returns to Pfeiffer from Piedmont College, where she served as the Associate Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach during the 2013 season. She led the Lions to a USA South Athletic Conference semifinals appearance and finished the season with a record of 12-4 overall and 5-3 in conference. Moulton also received a Master’s in Business Administration in April 2013.

Prior to working at Piedmont, Moulton was a student-athlete at Pfeiffer, playing for both the women’s lacrosse and women’s soccer teams for four years. Playing attack/midfield for the Falcons, Moulton ended her collegiate lacrosse career with a final record of 43-29. During her senior year, Moulton led the Falcons to the Conference Carolinas finals, and was named to the All-Tournament team while also being named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll in 2011.

As a midfielder for the Falcons’ soccer team, Moulton led the team to win the Conference Carolinas tournament championship in both 2008 and 2010. During her senior year, Moulton received honors as the Conference Carolinas player of the Week, a member of the All-Conference Team, and was named the Conference Tournament MVP. She graduated in May 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.

When asked about Moulton’s return to Pfeiffer, Coach Easley said, “I am thrilled that Jessie has returned to Pfeiffer.  She was a wonderful player and teammate while she was a student. She is mature, knowledgeable, and energetic.  Her experiences and successes at Piedmont will surely pay off and help Pfeiffer continue to achieve new heights.”
