November 21, 2013
MISENHEIMER, N.C. – First-year head men’s lacrosse coach Jason Lange has announced the team’s captains for the upcoming season. Lange and the program have tabbed Zac Clark and Bob Hope as the captains.
Hope is a senior attackmen and was Pfeiffer’s second leading scorer a season ago. In his junior year, Hope had 19 goals, 25 assists and 44 points. Hope added 30 ground balls and has been named a starter 45 times over his first three years. For his career, Hope has 41 goals, 60 assists, 101 points and 90 ground balls.
Clark, a senior midfielder, played in 16 contests last season and scored two goals and added an assist. Clark also grabbed 26 ground balls and has five career goals.
Pfeiffer is coming off a 13-4 season and posted a 5-1 record in Conference Carolinas play. The Falcons started the season 11-1 before falling to No. 7 Seton Hill. Two of Pfeiffer’s losses came to Limestone, a top-5 team. Pfeiffer has improved its win total in each of the last four seasons and look to continue that trend behind the leadership of Clark and Hope.
