Falcons Win Opener

Greensboro, NC---The Pfeiffer men's tennis team started the year with a 7-2 win over Greensboro College Saturday afternoon. The Falcons jumped out to a 3-0 lead in doubles and didn't stop there. Philip Lawson started out his collegiate tennis career with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the number 3 seed. While Johan de Wit also posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the number 2 spot. Guilherme Chiaramonti and Cody Simpson also posted commanding victories at the number 4 and 5 spots. The only two wins for Greensboro was the 1 and 6 spots, where the falcons put up a hard fight but came up short. The Falcons next test will be at UNC Charlotte tomorrow at two o'clock.
