| Misenheimer, NC---Strong doubles play jump-started Pfeiffer to a 9-0 CVAC victory over Converse in women's tennis action Tuesday afternoon. Pfeiffer improves to 10-6 overall and 4-2 in the CVAC. Converse is now 6-9 and 1-7. Playing with new doubles combonations the Falcons jumped on Converse losing only six games total in three matches. Andrea Stroup and Samantha Thomas were dominating at #1 losing only one game. Patty Dominguez and Mia Bobrowski played well dropping only two games at #2. Juilanna Reyes and Heather Smith completed the sweep of doubles with an 8-3 win at #3. Pfeiffer continued their strong play and swept all six doubles matches in straight sets. Andrea Stroup had the toughest match at #1 winning 6-3,7-6. Julianna Reyes continued her strong play with a 6-2,6-0 win at #4. Mia bobrowski played real well winning 6-3,6-1 at #3. Pfeiffer will next play Friday at 3:00 pm at Barton. Saturday they will play at Mount Olive at 12:00 pm.
