In game one Pfeiffer's Bryan Braxton stole the show, with two monster home runs, three RBIs and three runs scored. His homer in the seventh tied the game at 2-2 and started a four run inning for the Falcons, while his two run homer in the ninth gave Pfeiffer the cushion they needed for the 9-8 win.
Brad Boob (0-3) took the loss for Coker, going 7 2/3 innings, allowing seven runs on 11 hits with four strikeouts.
Pfeiffer's Chris Russell (2-0) earned the win coming on in relief, throwing three innings, allowing two runs on six hits.
Leading the Coker offense was Eric Losten who was 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, four RBIs and a run scored. Ben Davidson was 2-for-4 with a double, while Brian Nally was 1-for-4 with two RBIs. Julio Gomez collected two hits in the game, going 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Besides Braxton, Pfeiffer's other leading hitters were, Kyle Pugh, 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, while Ryan Brown was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Daniel Brown was 2-for-5 with a triple and Justin Ridenhour was 2-for-4 with a triple, with each scoring a run.
