FALCONS END SEASON WITH QUARTERFINAL LOSS
Sumter, SC - The Pfeiffer men’s and women’s tennis teams ended their seasons on Friday with losses in the Conference Carolinas tennis tournament. The women dropped their match 5-2 against Lees-McRae, while the men lost to Limestone 5-1.
The Pfeiffer women took two of the three doubles matches, 8-1 and 8-3, to start the day. Unfortunately, the Falcons were unable to earn a singles win and the Bobcats won the first four singles matches to clinch the match victory, 5-2.
The men’s team took one doubles match in their 5-1 loss to Limestone. AJ Flores (Atlanta, GA) and Frank Pouchet (Miami, FL) won 8-5 in the third doubles match. Limestone won in the fourth, fifth, and sixth positions to wrap up the day.
The Falcon women finished the season 8-13 overall, while the men finished 9-13 overall.
