PALM BEACH GARDENS, F.L. Ė Pfeiffer University placed two golfers inside the top-20 as the Falcons finished in tenth place at the NSU Shark Invitational hosted by Nova Southeastern University. Pfeiffer put together a team total of 908 on the par 72, 6,806-yard layout of the PGA National Resort and Spa. Barry University won the team event with a three-round total of 850.
Falcon senior Parker Robertson (Burlington, ONTARIO) led the way finishing in a tie for tenth overall with a three-round total of 217. Robertson put two of his three rounds in red numbers with a one-under par 71 in the opening round, finishing even stronger with a three-under 69 final round.
Junior Laurence Noott (Belbroughton, ENGLAND) came in just inside the top-20 with a T-19 finish at 220. Noott, like Robertson, finished under-par with a final round 71, to go along with his 74 and 75 circuits.
Chadd Marburger (Concord, NC) finished 65th overall just one place ahead of teammate Jonathan Miles (Wilmington, NC).† Marburger put together a three-round total of 238 (72/85/81) while Miles completed the tournament at 239 (80/83/76). Garrett Dranichak (Dublin, OH) wrapped up Pfeiffer scoring with a 245 (85/80/80).
The fall season for the menís golf team is now complete. The Falcons will get back to tournament action in the spring.
