ALL FALCONS SEE FLOOR TIME AS MEN'S VOLLEYBALL USES TEAM EFFORT TO COAST PAST YORK 3-0

MISENHEIMER, N.C. – Pfeiffer University wrapped up play in the 2010 Lucky Dog Invitational with a 3-0 (30-7, 30-15, 30-26) win over visiting York on Sunday afternoon inside the Merner Gym. The Falcons bounced back from an exhibition loss to the Virginia Tech club team on Saturday improving its overall record to 4-3 on the year.

Pfeiffer cruised to a 30-7 set one win hitting .667 as a team. The Falcons eventually coasted to the sweep finish line with wins of 15 and 26 over York. Every member of the active Falcon roster saw playing time on Sunday afternoon.

Eric Edelman (Henrietta, NY) and Jerry Olmeda (Rochester, NY) each had a team-high four kills. Evan Fullerton (Ambridge, PA) had a match-high 19 assists in front of Michael Dhalle’s (Phelps, NY) 14. Mark Hess (Lebanon, PA) had 14 digs while George Kan (Taipei, TAIWAN) finished with 10.

The Falcons will get back on the court on Thursday night, hosting Mount Olive in another Conference Carolinas match up. Pfeiffer will look for revenge from their 3-0 loss at Mount Olive last week, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
