TIED FOR LEAD AFTER DAY ONE, MEN'S GOLF FINISHES 3RD AT D2 PREVIEW IN WEST VIRGINIA

MISENHEIMER, N.C. Ė In a three-way tie for first after day one, the Pfeiffer University menís golf team finished six strokes out of first settling for third place in the D2 East/South Region Preview hosted by Concord University. Host Concord won the event shooting an even 600 and IUP and Pfeiffer followed with totals of 605 and 606.

Tyson Louth and Cameron Fields led the Falcons with tournament totals of 148 finishing in a tie for fourth. Louth shot 75 and 73 while Fields fired back-to-back rounds of 74. Laurence Noott followed with 76, 78 for a total of 154 while Stephen Schroeder turned in an 80, 76 for a two-day total of 156.

Chadd Marburger rounded out team scoring with back-to-back 82ís for a 164. Playing as an individual, Marc Kourie finished T-21 with a 74 and 82.
