WOMEN'S TENNIS BLANKED ON THE ROAD AT ERSKINE 9-0

CLEMSON, S.C. - Erskine College swept Pfeiffer University 9-0 in Conference Carolinas women's tennis action on Saturday afternoon at the Clemson Indoor Tennis Center. The match was moved from Due West due to rain as the men's match was postponed. A make-up date for the men has not been announced. Erskine improves to 8-1 overall, 7-0 in league play while the Lady Falcons fall to 4-5, 1-1.

Erskine won all nine points in straight set fashion as Pfeiffer's Alena Krutkina came the closest to securing a visitors point with a 6-4, 7-5 loss at #1 singles. Krutkina also had the closest doubles match with teammate Chelsi Haefele falling 8-5.

The Lady Falcons will be back in conference action next weekend traveling to Barton and Mount Olive for a pair of weekend matches.
