HIGH POINT, N.C. - Pfeiffer University’s Natalie Marvin has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week during week number two of the 2012 season. Marvin, who is a South Berwick, Maine native, put together a pair of very consistent games in a 1-1 week for the Lady Falcons.
Marvin began the season and conference opener with four goals and three assists in the win over Lees-McRae. Marvin also added four groundballs and a caused turnover. On Saturday at Lenoir-Rhyne, Marvin added four more tallies with two assists, adding four more groundballs, a draw control, and caused turnover. For the week, Marvin scored eight goals and helped on five others for 13 points. She totaled eight groundballs, two caused turnovers and a draw control for the Lady Falcons.
Marvin and the rest of her Pfeiffer teammates will get back to action on Thursday hosting #12 Gannon at 3:00 p.m. before entertaining Grand Valley State at 12:00 p.m. Saturday.
