WLISON, N.C. - Pfeiffer University used a dozen kills from Kyle Landrigan and Caleb Brophy to pick up a 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-17) sweep over host Barton College in Conference Carolinas men's volleyball action on Wednesday night. The Falcons improve to 10-5 overall, 9-2 in league play while the Bulldogs fall to 1-13, 1-7.
Landrigan hit .417 in the win while Brophy managed a .348 hitting percentage. David Specian assisted 34 times averaging over 11 per set while Brophy added 10 digs on defense. Pfeiffer would record nine total team blocks using 18 block assists. The Falcons would hit .308 and .379 in the first and third sets. Barton was led by Cameron Hudson's 10 kills and Jordan Robison's 22 assists.
The Falcons will now take two weeks off for spring break before getting back to action against Limestone on March 12th.
