LADY FALCONS CONTINUE HOT STREAK WITH 8-1 WIN OVER COKER; MEN'S TENNIS BITTEN BY COBRAS 6-3

MISENHEIMER, N.C. - The Pfeiffer University women's tennis team picked up their seventh-straight victory with an 8-1 Conference Carolinas victory over visiting Coker on Sunday afternoon. The Falcon men were doubled up 6-3 in a matchup of the league's top two teams.

Pfeiffer got off to a fast start sweeping all three doubles points with a pair of 8-5 and an 8-0 shutout victory. In singles, the Lady Falcons would score points in five of the six matches to roll to victory.

Coker's men took a 2-1 lead after doubles and scored four of the six singles points to claim the win. Ben Hunter/Loic Minery would 9-7 in a tight doubles match at #1 while Minery and Luis Villalta picked up the singles points.

Both Pfeiffer teams will be back in action this weekend traveling to Barton and Mount Olive in more Conference Carolinas action.
