LADY FALCON GOLF ANNOUNCES 2013 SIGNEES

Misenheimer, N.C.- Pfeiffer University’s Elliot Gealy, head coach of the women’s golf team, has announced the 2013 signees who will be joining the Lady Falcons golf team. Sarah Baldwin and Allyson Heinz will begin their collegiate golf careers with the Falcons this fall.

When asked about the incoming freshmen, Coach Gealy stated, “As a coach, I couldn’t be happier with these two young women. Both are very successful in the classroom as well as the golf course. With their addition, we are adding much needed depth that will make us a championship caliber team in the near future.”

Sarah Baldwin-(New Kent, VA) Sarah is a well-rounded student athlete. She has competed on her High School Softball, Track and Golf Teams. In the fall of 12’ she was a member of her Men’s High School Golf Team posting a career best score of 76. Sarah is also an excellent student and deeply involved in extracurricular activities. She has devoted several years in the community lending her services to numerous service projects.

“Sarah will be a talented addition to our Women’s Golf Program. She has good experience playing at the high school level as well as many summer tournaments.”

Allyson Heinz-(Salemburg, NC) Allyson comes from a very athletic background. She has played for her High School Golf, Softball and Volleyball teams, earning All-Conference honors in Volleyball all four years. As a member of the Lakewood High School Men’s Golf Team the last two years, Allyson has continued to improve competing as a top 3 seed.

“Allyson has a lot of athletic talent within her golf game. I have a lot of confidence she will develop into a great player in the near future and be a huge asset to our program.”
