FALCONS HEAD TENNIS JOE BAILE RESIGNS FROM PFEIFFER UNIVERSITY

Misenheimer, N.C.- Pfeiffer University’s head men and women’s tennis coach, Joe Baile, has announced his resignation from the University. I would like to thank former Athletic Director Mary Ann Sunbury and all of the wonderful people at Pfeiffer University for the opportunity to work for this institution,” states Baile. “I have greatly enjoyed my time at Pfeiffer and will miss my players dearly.  I have been presented another opportunity in the tennis industry that is beneficial to me and my family and will be stepping down as Head Men's and Women's tennis coach effective May 23rd. I wish Bob Reasso and the entire Pfeiffer athletic department the best of luck in the upcoming year.  Thank you to all the coaches and staff for your support during my three years as a coach.”

Assistant Athletic Director Micki Thompson states, “Coach Baile was a consummate professional and was well respected by our student-athletes. We thank Coach Baile for his years of service at Pfeiffer and wish him well in his future endeavors.”

Baile leaves Pfeiffer after a season during which the women’s team finished with a record of 13-6 (9-2 CC) and the men’s team with a record of 12-7 (6-4 CC). Pfeiffer University has begun a nation-wide search for a new head coach for both teams.
