SWIMMING WITH A STRONG SHOWING AT MILLIGAN

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN- The men's and women's swimming teams competed against Milligan and King on Friday afternoon. The men's team came away with a first place finish, while the women came in third.

The men finished with a 98-24 win over Milligan and a 95-23 victory over King. The 400-meter medley relay team of Ethan Garrison, Grant Smith, Michael Dilks and Marquise Snipes took home the top spot with a finals time of 4:13.28. Dima Kozlov won the 800-meter freestyle while teammate Dima Turkin secured the win in the 200-meter freestyle. Turkin continued his dominance, winning the 50-meter freestyle and 100-meter butterfly.

On the women's side, Pfeiffer fell by scores of 77-44 to King and 66-55 to Milligan. Vali Kaufmann was strong for the Falcons, coming away with the top slot in the 200-meter backstroke, finishing with a time of 2:07.76. Kaufmann also won the 400-meter freestyle with a time of 4:20.47. Ekaterina Galichenko finished tops in the 100-meter butterfly with a time of 1:08.40.

The Falcons return to action on Nov. 16 when they travel to Salisbury, NC to take on Catawba.
