|Baseball Splits with Anderson|

Misenheimer, NC--- The Pfeiffer baseball team split a double-header with Anderson on Saturday afternoon. Anderson (9-14,4-4) took the first game 8-4 but the Falcons(11-8,6-2) bounced back and won the second 7-2. the two teams will co nclude the series with a 1:00 pm single game on Sunday.
Kyle Lewis hit a two=run home run in the first to give Anderson a 2-0 lead.
Pfeiffer opened the bottom of the first with two singles and a walk to load the bases. A Justin Ridenhour single scored Daniel Brown with the first Falcon run. Jody Groce later scored to tie the game.
Pfeiffer took the lead in the third on a Bryan Braxton home run.
Anderson tied the game in the fourth at 3 all.
Anderson got two runs in the seventh and three more in the ninth to break the game open .
Pfeiffer got one run in the ninth but that was it and the Falcons lost 8-4.
The score was tied at one going into the bottom of the fourth. The Falcon got three straight doubles to take a 3-1 lead. Emmanuel Turner then got a single to drive in the fourth run.
The Falcons manufactured three runs in the fifth. A hit by pitch, walk, sacrifice, single, fielder's choice and a a groundout produced three runs and gave Pfeiffer a commanding 7-1 advantage.
Anderson got one in the seventh to make the final score 7-2.
Zack Strickland pitched a complete game for the Falcons, getting the win.
