MISENHEIMER, NC - The USILA has released its 2014 Division II All-American team and Pfeiffer’s Hayden Kirk and Steven Tilmon both earned Third Team All-American accolades. The duo were named Honorable Mention All-Americans a season ago and were InsideLacrosse.com Division II Preseason All-Americans.
Kirk started all 14 games for the Falcons and finished the year with a 9.99 goals against average and made 132 saves. The senior posted a .529 save percentage and made a season-high 17 saves against Florida Southern in the season opener. For the year, Kirk made double-digit saves in nine contests.
Tilmon finished the season with 31 points on 20 goals and 11 assists. The midfielder scored a season-best four goals against Mars Hill and twice had five point performances. The senior had 33 ground balls on the year and caused 10 turnovers.
