| Baseball Takes Two From Chowan |

| Misenheimer, NC---Pfeiffer swept a double-header from Chowan in on-conference baseball action Saturday afternoon.Pfeiffer got a great pitching effort as they won 7-1 and 4-0. Pfeiffer improves to 17-17 on the season. GAME ONE Kyle Pugh hit a solo home run to give Pfeiffer a 1-0 lead in the second. The Falcons got a second run that inning when Justin Ridenhour scored on a Tyler Smith sac fly. Ridenhour drove in two runs in the third with a double as the Falcons incresed their lead to 4-0. In the fifth Bryan Braxton doubled in Ryan Brown, then Braxton and Hayes Hinson were driven in by Zack Pou as Pfeiffer built their lead to 7-0. Pfeiffer starter Andrew Oliver got the win pitching 8 strong innings giving up only one run in the eighth.
GAME TWO Jonathan McDaniel pitched a complete game two-hitter to lead Pfeiffer to a 4-0 win in the second. game. Pfeiffer jumped out in the first when Hayes Hinson singled in Ryan Brown. Bryan Braxton provided two insurance runs in the third with a 2-RBI single. The Falcons added another run in the fifth with Braxton again driving in the run.
Pfeiffer will host Chowan on Sunday in a single game starting at 1:00 pm.
