|Falcons Fall in Florida|

|Kissimmee, FL---The Pfeiffer women's softball team lost two more close games in Florida on Tuesday afternon. In the opening game the Falcons fell to Lock Haven 6-4. In the second game Wayne State defeated Pfeiffer 5-4. Pfeiffer is now 14-12 on the season. |
Lock Haven jumped on Pfeiffer starter Dacia Ijames for five runs in the first.
The Falcons responded with two runs in the bottom of the first. Jaimee Cassidy and Shelby Fleming each delivered RBI singles.
Fleming came back in the third with a RBI Sac Fly to plated Martina Bulard and cut the Lock Haven lead to 5-3.
Lock Haven added a single run in the fifth.
Dacia Ijames knocked in a run in the bottom of the seventh but the Falcons could not score again and fell 6-4.
Pfeiffer fell behind early against Wayne State. Wayne State scored four runs in the first three innings to take control of the game.
The Falcon bats were silent until the top of the seventh when they exploded for four runs to tie the game. The critical hit being Cassidy's two-out single that scored two and sent the game into extra innings.
Unfortunately, Wayne State scored in the bottom of the eighth to take a 5-4 victory.
