Falcons Fall to Cobras

Hartsville, SC- Coker defeated the Falcons of Pfeiffer University, 81-67 in women’s Conference Carolinas collegiate basketball Monday evening. The win brings the Cobras up to a 3-13 record overall, and 2-7 in the conference, while Pfeiffer drops to 6-9 overall, and 3-5 in the conference.

It was an evenly matched game through the first half of play with Pfeiffer leading 45-40 going into the break, but the Cobras found the shooters touch in the second half, out scoring the Falcons by 19 points.

Pfeiffer was led by Ashelle Athill with 18 points and four rebounds, while Kalee Smith had 15 points and eight rebounds.

Pfeiffer will host Anderson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
