Falcons Go 2-2 at L-R Invitational

Hickory, NC---The Pfeiffer volleyball team split matches again Saturday to finish 2-2 at the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational. Saturday afternoon the Falcons lost to Wingate 3-1 but came back later to sweep Belmont-Abbey 3-0.

Wingate took the first game 30-21 but Pfeiffer fought back and tied it by winning game two 34-32. Wingate barely pulled out game three 30-28 and then won it by taking the fourth game 30-19.

Peiffer came back and dominated Belmont-Abbey in the fourth match of the weekend. The Falcons won three straight games by the scores of 30-18,30-23 and 30-17

Pfeiffer returns to action Tuesday when they travel to JC Smith for a 6:00 pm match.
